I've built up my professional design experience by working as the public relations specialist for Palm Beach County Library System, since June 2024.

March Happenings Cover

The work I'm most proud of during my time as the public relations specialist is my contribution to the March edition of the Happenings, the monthly Library publication advertising the events being hosted by all of the branches.

To honor Women's History Month, I wanted to showcase women who have worked with our Library over the years. I put out a request asking for current staff to submit photos they would like to be used for the cover. My colleagues helped with pulling photos of staff from the archives so there would be more material to build the mosaic. The portraits came together to make an image of Ingrid Eckler, who pushed for the expansion of the Library system county-wide.

The cover was made using Photoshop, including assistance from generative AI to edit the light fixture over Ingrid's head. The final magazine was produced in InDesign, assembled by graphic designer Randy Pytel

I also designed digital signage advertising the magazine using After Effects.
